LAUNCH
When you’re starting something new, it needs more than a logo. But most businesses don’t need everything all at once. We help you figure out what you’re building, who needs to care about it and what your brand needs to do to get things moving in the right direction. Together we’ll define a clear position around your strengths and goals, develop messaging that is both honest and effective and create an identity that builds trust from day one. Beyond that, we’ll focus attention on the places your brand actually needs to work first.
Every launch starts somewhere different.
Some people come to us with an idea and a blank canvas. Others bring years of experience, an existing network or customers already waiting. Where you’re starting changes what your brand needs to accomplish. And where we focus first.
Whitley Law
A new firm built on years of experience.
Matt Whitley wasn’t starting a new career. He was taking years of trial experience, professional relationships and a clear perspective on the cases worth fighting into a practice of his own. The brand needed to turn that existing credibility into a new firm people could understand and trust from day one.
“FK helps you expand/distill/clarify your idea so that you have no doubt in what you're doing or where you're headed.”
Sara Gelston-Summers, Golden Hour Books
Golden Hour Books
Building Community from Day One.
Golden Hour Books is more than a place to buy books. Sara and Max had a point of view about what the shop could contribute to Indianapolis and needed a brand capable of building recognition and community. They needed the brand to be something iconic, easy to recognize and enjoyable to wear, see and ultimately walk into. Read the case study here.
knell
Building the brand and the experience at the same time.
Knell started with an idea for a different kind of women’s boutique. One that is thoughtful, tactile and centered on the experience of discovering something in person. We helped Christy shape that idea into a brand and experience through its name and identity, its site and into the store itself. Read the case study here.
BLOSSOM Soil Health
Making something unfamiliar worth trying.
BLOSSOM was introducing biochar soil products to gardeners who might not yet know what biochar is, much less why they need it. The brand needed to make the science understandable, the benefits meaningful and the product feel at home in the hands of everyday gardeners.
LANDLAB
Making serious research inviting to the people it depends on.
LANDLAB needed to establish itself as a credible research lab while connecting with the children and families who make its work possible. The resulting brand balances academic rigor with an identity and digital presence that feel approachable, curious and human.

What does your launch need?
Every launch needs enough of a foundation to know what you’re building, who it’s for and why people should care. What comes next depends on the business.

We’ll help you determine what matters now, what can wait and where your investment can make the biggest difference.
