A good business gives people a reason to choose it. A good brand makes the choice easy.
We help businesses and organizations turn what makes them valuable into an advantage people can easily recognize, understand and trust. Whether you’r building something new or building on years of success, the goal is really the same: A brand that helps the business get where you want it to go.
Every brand starts somewhere different.
Some people come to us with an idea and a blank canvas. Others bring years of experience, an existing network or customers already waiting. Where you’re starting changes what your brand needs to accomplish. And where we focus first.
Whitley Law
A new firm built on years of experience.
Matt Whitley wasn’t starting a new career. He was taking years of trial experience, professional relationships and a clear perspective on the cases worth fighting into a practice of his own. The brand needed to turn that existing credibility into a new firm people could understand and trust from day one.
Change is risky. We help you manage it.
An established brand carries existing recognition, relationships and trust. Our process considers what you’ve already built, who already values it and what actually needs to change. We’ll balance equity, audience, timing and ambition so you can move forward without leaving something valuable behind.
ELEMENTAL
Getting more of the work you want.
We have been working with ELEMENTAL since before they opened their studio in Carmel, IN. Jessica and Chris have built a successful movement practice serving a broad range of clients. But some of their greatest expertise, and the work they wanted more of, was in performance, not just fitness. They work with everyone from elite cyclists to professional racing teams and competitive athletes everywhere in between. Recently we worked together to refine what they built, not reinvent it. We defined language, direction and updates that now make their expertise much harder to miss.

“Eric and Rebekah understand how to create brands that last beyond trends…They pushed us to better understand what we wanted our company to stand for.”

Golden Hour Books
Building Community from Day One.
Golden Hour Books is more than a place to buy books. Sara and Max had a point of view about what the shop could contribute to Indianapolis and needed a brand capable of building recognition and community. They needed the brand to be something iconic, easy to recognize and enjoyable to wear, see and ultimately walk into. Read the case study here.
HERCULEAN Prepared Meals
Evolution through substantial change.
The business had proven itself, was preparing for expansion and needed to become relevant to people beyond the audience that originally built it. The underlying value didn’t disappear, but its expression needed to expand. Stores went from individual trial and error to a system based on what worked best. Signs went from iconic to explicit messaging. The entire brand became easier to understand, connect to and be a part of.
How can your brand work harder for you?
If something is changing, not working or simply not doing enough for the business, tell us about it. You don’t need to know what the project is yet to start the conversation.
knell
Building the brand and the experience at the same time.
Knell started with an idea for a different kind of women’s boutique. One that is thoughtful, tactile and centered on the experience of discovering something in person. We helped Christy shape that idea into a brand and experience through its name and identity, its site and into the store itself. Read the case study here.
LICK
Building on what people already loved.
After years of being in business, LICK was growing from a small-batch ice cream company into an established Indiana brand with loyal customers and a reputation for doing things differently. As they were considering their own stores and providing more options, the opportunity wasn’t to leave that history behind, but to build from it and create a stronger expression of the quality, personality and sense of place that had become central to the business.
Branding is a lot of small decisions over time.
We share our views on what makes brands worthy of attention.
BLOSSOM Soil Health
Making something unfamiliar worth trying.
BLOSSOM was introducing biochar soil products to gardeners who might not yet know what biochar is, much less why they need it. The brand needed to make the science understandable, the benefits meaningful and the product feel at home in the hands of everyday gardeners.
Coffee Apothecary
Letting the brand catch up with the business.
Coffee Apothecary had spent years developing their approach to coffee, building a loyal following and growing into a more mature business than the one Pablo and Lydia originally launched. As the company and vision evolved, the brand needed to better reflect the quality of the product and make clear the perspectives they had developed along the way. We helped to bring those pieces into alignment, giving Coffee Apothecary a more distinctive expression of who they and become and a stronger foundation for where they wanted to steward the business.
What does your business need the brand to do?
Your business has already built recognition, relationships and trust. The job isn’t to change everything. It’s to understand what’s still working, what’s holding you back and what will help you get where you want to go next.
